For Frank’s Writing Services

“Frank Felsburg is the Rolex of the writing profession: always on time (for meetings and deadlines), reliable as they come, efficient and dependable. His process is like clockwork.” – Kirk Berry, Motivational Speaker, and author of Five Powerful Tips for Motivating Youth.

“Thank goodness for Frank Felsburg! It’s hard enough to look at yourself or your company from an outside vantage point. It’s harder still to put that viewpoint into a 30-second sound bite. Using his creative analytical skills, he helped me cut our mission down to a couple of impactful sentences. I would recommend Frank’s work to anyone struggling to define your elevator speech…or anything longer.” – Mark P. Stevens, President, Learning Luminaries”

“Hello Brother Frank,

I have truly enjoyed working with you over these past two years. I feel like we spent time in the foxhole together in one of my many excursions. Offering my thanks is but a small expression of how I feel because of the great work you did for me and the friendship that we’ve cultivated over these months. I am thoroughly pleased. We did good and meaningful work together, and I can’t think of another person I want to work with for my other book projects. I subscribe to the philosophy that ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.’

More importantly to me though is I have come to respect and appreciate your perspective and view of the world. It is not a mutual admiration of I talk to you because we think alike, but instead I find you to be critically objective and non-judgmental in your thinking, and that is important to me for the circle of friends I keep. If it’s ok with you, I would like to call you from time to time to pick your brain and get your perspective on a few things.

I will need your help when I get into the KDP, Amazon, ACX, iPage, and MailChimp. I have not gotten into them fully yet, but it’s good to know that I can send out a smoke signal for help when I run into a wall.

The Civil War book is the next project and I plan to energize you when I’m ready. As you know, I struggled with my Crestcom venture which turned out not to be as successful as planned, so, I have to re-cock and re-aim before taking the shot.

We just celebrated my Aunt Maria’s one year anniversary of her passing on Sunday 1 August with a memorial service celebrating her life. My youngest Safee will give birth next month to her first child. You are right: A lot has changed and continues to change, and effective leaders know how to manage change.

I appreciate you likewise. I think you are a better man.

God Bless, and be well.

Dan”

For Frank’s Publishing Services

“When I decided to finally get my book in print, I remembered that I had met Frank and had his card. I emailed him and got a response immediately. I sent him my manuscript and as they say, ‘the rest is history.’

He took my project and made it into a published book. He responded and answered my questions timely. We communicated via email and phone, which made the process simple. Frank turned my pages into a story that flowed better than I imagined. I am pleased with the outcome and am excited to have my seven year project completed. I recommend Frank to anyone that is looking to get their book published.” – JoAnn Wismer, author of Hairnets & Aprons: The Story of a Lunch Lady.

“When I decided that it was a good idea to write my memoirs, I had no idea how to get started. Fortunately, I met Frank Felsburg, the founder of Spoken and Written Words, LLC. Frank has been in the publishing world for most of his career and knew exactly how to proceed. He saved the day!

Initially, Frank helped me to define my target audience, organize my thoughts into logical chapters, and even suggested the title of my book. As the project proceeded, he passed on useful suggestions, did the initial editing, and brought me up to speed in the computer skills necessary to make the writing more efficient. When my manuscript was completed, Frank took over. He worked with a professional editor and the guy who designed the cover, handled the photography, formatted the book, and published the final copies.

I had no clue as to how to turn a manuscript into a book. Frank knew how and made it happen. Without Frank’s help, my book would have just been an unfulfilled dream.”  – Dr. Allan Pennington, author of The Adventures of Silly Papa.

“When I was looking for someone to publish my book of poetry, an acquaintance recommended Frank Felsburg, who had recently published a book for him. I called Frank and we had a good talk about the publishing process and I asked him if he would work with me.  Frank is a professional and he knows the whole process and the people to work with in bringing my book to fruition. I am very pleased with the finished product and it is a lovely book.” – Robin Hodgson, author of Love Songs for a Hungry Heart: A Life of Poetry.

Dear Frank,

I wanted to reach out and let you know that I received an offer from Koehler Books to publish Let Yourself Be Loved: Big Lessons from a Little Life.  You were such an informative, kind, and generous support to me at the beginning of this process and I have thought many times, gratefully, of all that you shared with me through our conversation and through email. I know that the hard work of bringing the book to life and marketing it is just beginning, but it feels so good to have come this far.

Thank you for being a part of the process.

I hope this finds you well and enjoying your own purposeful work.

God bless,
Betsy Leon
